

HUNT IN BOTSWANA
Climate
Botswana’s climate is dry and sunny most of the year. The winter months (May–August) are cool and clear, while summer (September–April) can be very hot, with rains from December to March.
Hunting Areas
Safaris are conducted in remote concessions in the Tuli Block.

Hunting Season
Hunting traditionally runs from April through September, with cooler weather and excellent visibility.

Health & Safety
Medical kits and communication equipment are standard. Some regions carry a malaria risk; consult your doctor about prophylaxis.

Travel & Accommodation
Arrival point is Gaborone, followed by transfers to camp via road. Camps are tented or lodge-style with full amenities.

Customs, Visas & Insurance
A valid passport is required. Some nationalities may need a visa. Medical and evacuation insurance is highly recommended.

Documentation
All necessary hunting licenses and CITES permits are arranged before the safari.
Currency & Spending Money
The Botswana Pula is the local currency, though USD is widely accepted. Tipping the PH, camp staff and trackers is customary.

Firearms & Ammunition
An import permit is required for all firearms and ammunition. Assistance with permits is provided.
