HUNT IN MOZAMBIQUE
Climate
Mozambique’s coastal climate is hot and humid, while inland regions are drier. Winters (May–August) are cooler and more comfortable. Summers (September–April) are hot with seasonal rains.
Hunting Areas
Hunting takes place in large wilderness concessions in the Niassa Reserve, Zambezi Delta, and central regions, known for buffalo, leopard, lion, and plains game. Camps are tented with full catering and service.

Hunting Season
From June to November, with prime conditions during the dry season.

Health & Safety
Malaria precautions are essential. Camps are equipped with basic medical facilities and satellite communication.

Travel & Accommodation
Entry is usually via Beira, with transfers to concessions by charter or 4x4. Camps are comfortable and serviced, with daily laundry, meals, and non-alcoholic beverages included.

Customs, Visas & Insurance
Passports (valid 6 months) and visas are required. Visas may be obtained at entry points. Comprehensive insurance is strongly advised.

Documentation
Special permits and CITES papers are necessary for some species.
Currency & Spending Money
The Mozambican Metical is the local currency, though USD is widely accepted. Tipping the PH and camp staff is customary.
